The Indian Storystick
With its roots in ancient, tribal teachings, this adult-oriented workshop encourages participants to explore their past as they embark on this life altering experience. While adorning their sticks with ribbon, shells, beads, sweet grass and feathers, participants are guided on a journey of spiritual renewal and self-discovery. In the culmination of this activity, the people come together in the Sacred Circle to share their stories.
All adults are invited to be part of this deeply moving experience as the Indian Storystick takes you on your Earth Walk of reflection, healing, and self-care.

Pine Needle Basket Coiling
Native people have been coiling baskets since the beginning of time. Students will learn about the various types of pine trees, their geographical regions, and the Indigenous people who harvested their pine needles.
In this class, students will learn the basics of coiling using beautiful, long leaf pine needles. Classes are perfect for libraries, museums, and nature centers and are geared for ages 14 and up. Accepting up to 8 students per class.
